QIPIRC Summer School and Workshop 2008
Was held in Sheringham, Norfolk from 29th June to 3rd July 2008.
The school and workshop in Sheringham was particularly targeted at graduate students and those in the first few years of their research careers. Places were limited to about 45 and were awarded on a first-come-first served basis on receipt of completed application forms. In addition to tutorial lectures and problem classes, there were half hour slots for lectures from attendees. Three of the best lectures presented at the workshop were awarded prizes and the opportunity to present the same lecture to a wider audience at the QIP IRC annual conference later in that week.
