QIP research on peapod structures

Devices will be fabricated in Cambridge from peapod material purified at Oxford. A study of how how interactions between the isolated spins in the doped peapods scatter the single electrons defined by gates in the surrounding nanotube using Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) techniques has been proposed. The ultimate objective is demonstrating controlled entanglement in these structures.
