Professor Sandu Popescu (Bristol University and a member of the IRC) gave the 2004 Clifford Patterson lecture at the Royal Society (the UK’s National Academy of Sciences). This prize lecture is given annually by a person distinguished in the fields of “electrical science and technology, inclusive of the science and technology of electronic materials, components and systems”. Professor Popescu’s topic was What is Quantum Non-Locality?
